Français Aymeric Bauguin, General Manager HDS Digital, has joined the programme of the 2nd International E-reading Conference that will take place in Paris on 1 and 2 October next.

Français Aymeric Bauguin, General Manager HDS Digital, has joined the programme of the 2nd International E-reading Conference that will take place in Paris on 1 and 2 October next.

Created in 2006, HDS Digital, a subsidiary of Hachette Distribution Services, distributes magazines and books in digital format, with a downloading service on several platforms, incuding iPhone.

Mr. Bauguin's presentation will examine e-reader strategies for books and magazines and provide a case study of the HDS Digital Kiosk.

The event, organised by The World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA), will identify and examine the latest developments on the e-reader market and explore the strategies of the leading players in the press sector.

WAN-IFRA has invested in e-reading research and testing, and participated in the development of e-reading technologies, since 2003.
