More than 200 members of the International Newspaper Color Quality Club 2012–2014, sponsors, supporters and representatives of companies awarded Star Club membership celebrated their success at the Awards Dinner on Wednesday, 31 October 2012. WAN-IFRA invited them to the ballroom of the Marriott Hotel near the Frankfurt fairground.

Beatrix Beckmann and Manfred Werfel from WAN-IFRA moderated the event.

Jacob Mathew, the president of WAN-IFRA, welcomed the Color Quality Club members and underlined the promotion of high quality printing as one of the basic objectives of the association. Roger Münch, Director of the German Newspaper Museum, gave a humours dinner speech, presenting some historic reminiscences that were received with a chuckle by the audience.

Finally eight new members of the WAN-IFRA Star Club were awarded on stage by Jacob Mathew and Anton Hamm from manroland web systems, representing the main sponsor of this year’s Color Quality Club.
